My Raleigh Times

September 1, 2017

I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Raleigh, North Carolina at the beginning of the summer for work. Working at Theatre Raleigh was an experience I will never forget. The people, the food, the theatre, the shopping, the atmosphere...ahh what an amazing city! I can't wait to go back. These are little captured moments of my adventures while being in this toe tapping, eclectic, and cultured city <3

My honey, Darius, and I at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Just beautiful. You easily can spend  the whole day getting lost in the different exhibits...and they have got beautiful outside displays and  gardens as you can see above ^^. A perfect romantic day excursion.

Big Ed’s City Market Restaurant - crazy good southern food...good for the soul. I mean c'mon look how cool this place is!

Morning Times - we went here almost every morning to grab a cup of coffee or chai. The people who work there make the experience that much sweeter. The french toast is bomb as well! Grab a news paper and cup of joe and your good to go...its like being in the comfort of your own living room.

Snapping a quick picture while exploring downtown Raleigh. We got super lucky with the weather while being down there! This is the day my "darbear" treated me to some vintage sunglasses...I was a HAPPY girl. Check out "Father & Son Antiques" for some seriously cool finds...we went there almost every day before shows whoops!

Always, always, always! This was on a window of a restaurant in downtown Raleigh that I can't remember the name of! But I do remember the little sign in the corner said "Now hiring badasses"!

Looking for authentic Mexican cuisine? This is the place to be. The tacos, Coronas, the rice and beans...nothing on the menu is a bad idea! Great for a quick bite or for lounging around with a cold beer while sitting in the outside area.
